@halalfoodsydney: Fatteh ✨ A staple appetizer during ramadan, everyone makes fatteh differently and this is like a simple generic recipe that you could adjust to your liking. I will also be sharing my personal twist recipe of making this soon Recipe: 2 cups fried bread 1.5 cup greek yogurt 1 small clove garlic 1/2 tsp salt or to taste 2 tbsp tahini 1 can chickpeas 1. Cube and fry bread till golden, place aside 2. Wash then boil chickpeas for 15mins or until soft to touch 3. Mix greek yogurt, garlic, salt and tanini in a bowl 4. Add 1/2 cup of the hot chickpea water and whisk through 5. Layer your fatteh by placing fried bread on the botton, chickpeas then top with your yogurt mix 6. Fry 2 tbsp pine nuts or slivered almonds in 2 tbsp ghee, once golden quickly pour straight onto yogurt mix 7. Garnish with chopped parsely Enjoy! @ #fatteh #ramadan #recipes
