Yup yup, but this can be a dangerous slope for people who over spend. Don’t use your card if you can’t pay it off in full monthly.

Use credit card only if you have money to pay off. If not. don't spend money you don't have

I have been doing this for years. My credit is in the 800’s. I get the bill every month and I pay it every month

Use a rewards based CC and payoff at the end of the month. I make $35 a month in rewards. I pay for everything I can with my rewards card.

As soon as my son turned 16 I put him as a user on my cc. By the time he graduated HS he had a 760 credit score

most people can't pay there bill in full and end up paying more in interest than the item they charged

It’s simple. Everyday purchases use the card, then immediately pay the balance each day. You would have spent it out checking anyway.

This has been my strategy for years. My CC actually pay me between 1%-5% monthly on my purchases. But you got to pay your bill 100% to make it work.

I pay for almost everything with CC's and as soon as I check out I open my banking app and pay the CC off. Credit score is amazing! and get rewards.

Sounds great except he fails to mention APR. Having a credit card is good, but I would never use them to pay for everything.

I wonder how much they learn to budget if the parent sets the spending limit and pays the balance.

everything in this video is good advice. the trick is to not to buy more than you can pay off completely every month by the due date.
