I'm running a Honda GX 690 with 8 gallon pump. They also run at lower RPMs which extends the life of the pump

When you’re researching pumps check for the suction lift rating and that will tell you if you should suck from a tank.

Or to mention you can run a small generator on it for a 110v burner. I’ve had less issues out of the 110v Becketts
