@jessijeannn: Sorry ive been a little MIA around here. I have missed sharing my binge & emotional overeating tips. But have going through a roller coaster of emotions! When I found out I instantly started sweating, didn’t know what to feel, I was scared, unsure, excited, overwhelmed, filled with doubt, deeply grateful and simultaneously wondering if we were ready or wanted it to happen so fast…all the emotions overcame me. And to be honest I think grief hit me right away, as I realized my life had to change, instantly. I always see the sweetest pregnancy announcements and while this is certainly sweet and we are overcome with gratitude for this miracle, I refuse to pretend. I am allowed to feel both gratitude & grief fear and excitement sadness and wonder hope and doubt it’s all allowed, it always has been and it always will be I hope we all give ourselves full permission to feel. All of it. Because that’s what makes being human such an unreal experience. We *get* to feel so much. And we don’t have to fight it or feel shame. It’s a very normal human thing.
