after six years in auto parts stores I've seen so many shops over charge for the cheapest parts and than deny parts warranty

Yes, but shops tend to buy the cheapest version of said parts & that is problematic as well.

I'm willing to Pay for my own parts Keep 3 to 5 year Warranty VS Shop only what 3 months Warranty. I'll take my chances and pay for Labor if needed.

That’s 100% fine because the place you guys order the parts are the same place we buy the parts from. Same warranty for both

you can save money doing it this way, IF You know what you're doing/ ordering. I've got no trouble with it tbh. I work at a dealership for reference.

I bought a acdelco factory CV axle for my car and did the swap my self for $160 a shop wanted to charge me 780 to do it the axel

ordering from germany aftermarket parts for my bmw and its cheaper than you give the shop do the work + quality is good never had issues after install

Yeah, this happens when I go to have my radiator replaced and they charge me $500 when it retails for $120. Plus they want $700 to install it.

Yeah but when it’s over 50 percent mark up still worth buying your own part most part have a manufacture warranty

I own my own shop and if customer wants to supply the parts that’s fine just inform them the warranty is up to them. Simple.

let's see shop wants 400 for alternator and partsgeek has it for 200 for same brand. tons of shops are honest but 90% are rip offs
