So I actually have found the trick to peeling eggs is to make sure your hands are wet. As you’re peeling, the shells just fall off.

So I tried two eggs at the same time, one with the crack, one without. Both peeled very easily. You can also do the crack after boiling and it “works”

There are even kitchen gadgets to poke a hole to the bottom of the egg. You didn't inverted the wheel.
