It’ll dry and be fine, it just won’t charge until the port dries. Everything after the 7 is water resistant up to like 10 ft for a prolonged time

You don’t need rice..if you have a new iPhone they’re water resistant..just let it dry completely before charging 😊

but the phone is normaly waterproof. i dropped mine under a toilet in a club and then i just rinsed it off in the sink, no problem
