Yes, we had struggled with latch, painful nursing, poor weight gain but overall I thought we were improving day by day.. that’s when my doc told me my breastfeeding journey was over. Instead of giving up completely, I started triple feeding, pumping in addition to trying to latch baby occasionally and giving formula supplements. I started researching pumping like crazy, looking for every tip and schedule that I possibly could. I tried everything out there in a few things actually worked! It took time and determination, but was so worth it!
