@cleanthatup: It is Day 14/30 of my Spring Cleaning Spree! SHOWER CURTAIN: For the last six months we have switched to using a fabric shower liner instead of a plastic one. We love that we’ve cut down on our plastic use and it seems to hang a lot nicer. I don’t think there is anything worse than having the plastic liner touch you in the shower *shudder* If you do have a plastic liner, no worries! You can still wash them if they start to get a bit moldy. If they’re really bad, I’d soak it in your bathtub with a cup of white vinegar and warm water. Then throw the liner into your washing machine on a gentle cycle, warm water, with laundry detergent and a tablespoon or two of white vinegar for sure measure. Hang to dry when it’s done. FAN: The fan I’m cleaning in this video wasn’t very dirty because it’s in our guest bathroom, but most I clean are covered in a hairspray/dry shampoo/ dusty residue. If this is what you find on your fan use some warm water, a drop of Dawn dish soap and a Scrub Daddy to wipe the residue off (only on the cover, after you remove it from the ceiling) Then air dry or wipe down with a dry microfiber towel. The Dawn is great at breaking down the greasiness of the dirt and the Scrub Daddy will scrub it away.
