Instead of cutting the bottom out of the top drawer use it to store you litter scoops and other cat supplies

rule of thumb I've always been told is typically 1 litter box per cat and en extra if you have space

you’re suppose to have 1 box per cat and then 1 more. you should have 6 unless ur amazing at cleaning them every day twice a day

I did this too. Absolutely love it but if you want a hack to make the litter easier to dump, the dollar tree litter box tray fits perfectly inside
