@davidandsarahteam: Hot water 💧 taking forever to come out of your tap? 🚰 Here's some reasons and tips 👇🏼 🔥 The knob on your hot water tank could be turned to low, turn it to the middle but not very hot. Turning it to very hot could be dangerous because it could come out unexpectedly too hot. 🔥 Outside temperature changes the warmth in our home the same way it does our water tank. Insulate it in the cooler months. 🔥 Always get maintenance in your tank. That way, you'll know when it's caputz. 🔥 The further the tap is from your eater tank, the longer it'll take to come out hot. 💧 Sediment build up. You can clean the tap heads with a bag and vinegar. Let is sit for 20 mins. 💧 Water sits in the pipes, insulating your pipes helps. 💧 The size and thickness of pipes also influence how long hot water takes. Larger pipes allow water to sit and cool. 💧 Try installing a hot water recirculating system. 💧 Consider upgrading to a tankless water heater. As the name suggests, these water heaters don’t store hot water in a tank. Instead, they heat water as it flows through the system. These water heaters are also sometimes called on-demand heaters. Always consult an inspector or water technician before tempting anything yourself. These are observations I've learned from going on home inspections 🔧 🔨 🏡 #homeinspection #homeinspector #whitby #whitbyontario #whitbyrealestate #hometips #homehacks
