@diabetesdoc: It’s been 12 hours into my comparison of the #DexcomG7, #dexcomg6, #FreestyleLibre3, and #FreestyleLibre 2. I compared them against 7 blood glucose meters from OneTouch, Contour, and Accu-chek. I just ate a meal about 30-45 minutes ago, so my blood sugars are the rise. This was the perfect opportunity to talk about how the Libre sampling sugar every 1 minute is an advantage over the Dexcom’s 5 minute intervals. Also, talked about how #cgm samples interstitial fluid, which is often 5-10 minutes behind blood glucose. Note: This is NOT a definitive test to determine which sensor model is generally the most accurate.
