Yep, just play parts slowly and add them together later, like just play the high hat and snare, and get comfortable. then add the bass drum later,

what helped me was pretending to hit a drum in the air with my right hand when I lift it off the hi-hat and hit the kick.

think of your hi hat strikes as both an up AND down beat. sometimes you hit the bass on the up. 😁

It looks (to me anyway) that you’re right handed and are playing open (left hand on the hi hat). Try going back to right on hats and see if it helps.
