As soon as we step in her office, my therapist sets out tissues and fidgets where I can reach them, if I need. It helps so much this way!

How hard is it when people do this to be forced to sit there with a straight face cause you know you have to… I’m sure sometimes the things you’re told can be absolutely devastating as an empath. I don’t know how you do it.
