@bint.kurd: we are so consumed in this delusional dunya, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, how long does each prayer take? Lets say 5 minutes, thats only 25 minutes of our day everyday & we have 1440 minutes in total daily… theres absolutely no excuse to shy away from the Al-Mighty just to refrain from praying! When u have a dentist appointment, an interview etcc u will surely turn up on time, then why dont u use the same mindset to the one who created time, اللّٰه‎ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى !!! Ur appointment is with him. The Prophet ﷺ would pray until his feet were swollen. It was said to him, “Why do you do this when اللّٰه has forgiven your past and future sins?” The Prophet said, “Shall I not be a grateful servant?” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1130, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2819) therefore if the prophet ﷺ was already promised jannah but still showed gratitude to his lord, then who are we? Who really are we?
