@thesidingguy_: I did not know about nailing pattern when I first started installing siding even though I read the pamphlet from the store on how to install vinyl siding. I don’t think this is a crucial hill to die on because after you’ve installed long enough, you’ll know what you can get away with and what you can’t. I would suggest that if you’re new to installing, that you follow this nailing pattern. Do you nail from the centre point to the outsides?
