Disney is more than just theme park rides!👇🏽 To truly have an incredible experience at each Disney park, you have to consider the other elements outside of the attractions. Animal Kingdom DOES have some pretty immersive, innovative and thrilling attractions - but because there is only a handful, many people write off Animal Kingdom as a skippable park. Reasons Why This is our family’s 2️⃣nd favorite park: 1️⃣ Great for non Disney stans -My husband is not huge into Disney outside of Star Wars, EPCOT & seeing our kids so happy at the parks - but he really loves the vibes at AK - it doesn’t feel like a theme park, it has over 2,000 animals, incredible theming, lots of foliage, shade and relaxing (yes, you heard it, relaxing) spots to escape crowds or just feel a moment of zen 2️⃣ If anyone in your family are animal lovers or fans of the movie the Lion King - this park is a must do. Kilimanjaro Safaris is an open-air safari through 110 acres home to 34 species of wildlife and designed to look like an actual African reserve - we nearly had a giraffe lean his head into our truck on our last visit. 3️⃣ On the topic of Lion King, the show is a 15-20 BROADWAY caliber performance and is an absolute must 4️⃣ good food & drink is something we seek out no matter where we are. In my opinion, Animal Kingdom has the second best food & Bev (behind Epcot of course). 5️⃣ Pandora, world of Avatar. You will be blown away just stepping foot into the land.
