@inspiredbyprisfood: dedicate this dish to my childhood 🥰❤️ This was a brunch staple and we often had it on Sundays with a massive spread. A simple can of pilchards can take you right back to your childhood 👌🏽 This is my take on Tinfish ✨ INGREDIENTS •1 Can Lucky Star Pilchards •1/2 Onion •2 Grated Tomatoes •1 Chilli •1 Sprig Curry Leaves •1 Tablespoon Garlic •1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric •2 Tablespoons Masala •Coriander •Salt METHOD •Sauté Onions,Chilli, Garlic and Curry Leaves. •Add Turmeric and mix well. Add in the masala and mix until everything is incorporated •Add In the tomatoes and mix well. •Season with salt and allow this to cook until the oil comes to the surface. •Add A Tad bit of water and allow the tomato gravy to cook on low. You can also add coriander at this stage. •Once the mixture is cooked, add in the washed and deboned pilchards. You add the tin sauce or skip the sauce. (Up to you) •Try not to mix.
