bmi is not used medically because it’s inaccurate ur not wrong there, but it does take into account your height. The only reason its not used is -

it actually does consider your height... you use your height and weight... but yes it is still incorrect because muscle and fat don't weigh the same..

By the BMI, I am bordering on almost morbid. I'm 200lbs and 5'8", I'm not doing metric. I've lifted both my parents due to their health issues.
