I would have put 4ft x 8ft sheets of plywood on top to create an attic floor. before the drywall went up. Bummer.

I just hung my drywall and made the same mistake of not staggering the sheets. I had to call real drywaller's in and they were all laughing at me.

4-5 screws on drywall that’s on a wall and atleast 7 screws for the ceiling cause of earthquakes
