If the oil doesn’t make much difference, the only time I could see it being useful then is as a scalp treatment to protect the skin better.

It’s splotching because the e bowl wasn’t mixed quite enough, if the powder doesn’t get fully mixed in it doesn’t get activated

The oil will just make it process slower. Dots are just because of the application- wasn’t fully saturated.

The dots could be from where the aluminum foil was pressed against it. Because it moves the bleach

there was a recall on several Lightner with border in them.. matrix and redken I know for sure had this happen to me.
