FYI plating can greatly influence the amount of torque required. Buy made in USA.

The silver was more than likely a Grade 5 bolt (less hard), black bolts are Grade 8 (hardened steel).

the silver bolts are low grade. head bolts are usually a high grade black bolt.

Silver color means it was plated. Normally you rely on the marking on the head to determine the grade of the bolt.
