Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich 🍔 Ingredients Chicken 2 boneless chicken breasts (pounded or halved) 1 cup buttermilk 1 tbsp hot sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp paprika ½ tsp garlic powder Coating 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ cup cornstarch 1 tsp paprika ½–1 tsp cayenne 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp salt Spicy glaze 2–3 tbsp hot oil (from frying) 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp cayenne 1 tsp paprika ½ tsp garlic powder Pinch of salt Spicy sauce 3 tbsp mayo 1–2 tbsp hot sauce ½ tsp paprika For assembly Brioche buns Pickles Lettuce Butter Instructions Marinate the chicken in buttermilk, hot sauce, and seasonings for at least 30 minutes. Mix the flour, cornstarch, and spices, then coat the chicken well, pressing the coating in to create that crispy texture. Fry in hot oil until golden, crispy, and fully cooked. While the chicken is still hot, mix the spicy glaze and spoon it over for that glossy, spicy finish. Mix the spicy mayo until smooth. Toast the buns with a little butter until golden.
