Medical recourse is the emergency hospital. They have only so many emergency spots. Most vets works hrs of free overtime daily.

It’s a thing. Pets are property- we are not required to treat your pet. If it’s an emergency see an ER and if it’s chronic see a specialist.

Yes it’s a thing. Being short staffed means your dog who’s having a deadly reaction couldn’t be seen in time and the ER was the better option for her.
