Good info. I restore pans every day but cook on them maybe once a week. I found myself throwing my users in with my restorations pretty often.

I’ve done the Lye bath on a early 1900’s Wagner the outside stripped perfect but the inside is being stubborn. Any suggestions?

I bought a carbon steel pan a few months ago. These color changes are MUCH more visible on carbon steel! It kinda scared me for a while! 😂
