We got an emergency alert test at 4:45 in the MORNING today. It was meant to be on tv but someone pushed the wrong button. 😂😂

I believe emergency alerts can be turned off in the phone settings. Check w phone.

We have Emergency Alerts in Canada; for extreme weather, floods, fire, missing children, etc. They do 2 tests each yr. 🤷♀️🙂

I’ve heard that we won’t be able to use our phone if we don’t acknowledge the alert. Don’t know how true this is and not mentioned on gov.uk.

they can set a do not disturb on their phone. they could select for one hour or leave it on do not disturb. it works.

If you go into your settings on either andriod or iphone and type in gov it shows emergency alerts which you can turn off. Hope this helps 💕
