A quick and easy pizza dough that comes together with just a few basic ingredients. It mixes smoothly, rises reliably, and bakes into a soft, chewy crust with a light crisp on the edges. What You Need: 1 & 2/3 cups warm water (400ml) 1 & 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (20g) 2 tsp instant yeast (7g) 1 tbsp salt (15g) 2 tbsp sugar (20g) 5 & 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (680g) How to Make: 1️⃣ In a large bowl, mix warm water, olive oil, yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms. 2️⃣ Wet your hand and knead the dough until it's smooth. 3️⃣ Cover the bowl and let the dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. 4️⃣ Wet your hand to prevent sticking, then stretch the sides of the dough upward and fold them towards the center. Repeat this process 3-4 times. 5️⃣ Flip the dough so the seams are underneath and shape it into a ball. Cover and let it rest for 60 minutes. 6️⃣ After 90 minutes, turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 4 equal pieces (280g each). 7️⃣ Shape each piece into a smooth ball. Lightly spray a baking tray with olive oil and place the dough balls on it. Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let them rest for 15 minutes to relax the dough. 8️⃣ Place a dough ball onto a floured surface and sprinkle additional flour on top. Flatten it into a 5-6 inch circle using your hands. Use your fingers to press the dough from the center outwards, leaving a 1/2 inch border to form the crust. Gently stretch the dough to form a 10-12 inch wide pizza. 9️⃣ Add sauce and toppings to the dough.
