@hortonlane: I use to stress about having a picture perfect party for my kids. But then I saw how much joy they got going to the store and getting to pick out the decorations they wanted for their party. They had a total sense of control and got to decorate the way they saw fit for their day! Now don’t get me wrong, I love seeing mamas get creative and create beautiful elaborate parties for their children. I think its great if it brings them and their child joy! But it was more of a stressor for me. I felt like I was failing if my DIY didn’t turn out as cute or I didn’t get the perfect photo. It just goes to show that we all have our own way of doing things as moms and there is no right way. Just ways that work for each family ❤️ So if you feel pressured to throw an elaborate party, don’t!
