pro-press says "should last 25 years" in Maine on wells copper can start to have pin holes in 6-8years depending on how much iron is in water

The only time I have seen a propress for copper leak was freezing water that just pushed the fitting off. But that’s for pex fittings too.

I 100 percent use pro press. But during that freeze storms we had here in NC, I saw a bunch of pro press joints that froze and popped off the pipe

Same here, heard stories about them leaking never saw one leak. I’ve installed thousands of press fittings underground, no deburr tool. Just emry pap

With bigger pro press fittings I have a lot of leaks , mostly the 4 inch fittings, smaller sizers rarely leak unless it’s missing O ring
