There are shootings and violence in Canadian schools. The school doesn't pay for SLOs so, as a defence lawyer get you and colleagues to volunteer

I pulled my Teenager from a school district who had "justice resolution" meetings with armed officers over being rude to a teacher 😒

Probable Fate :
Police aren’t there to ‘arrest’ kids anymore than a lawyer would be there to ‘defend’ them.

When I was teaching, the school liaison officer visited at least once a month. She interacted with the students. They LOVED her.
