As long as you don’t clip the seat belt to their collar but instead their harness, they will be fine!

Need to be in a crash tested crate or harness! Center for pet safety has a statement on how dangerous tethers are to dogs in an accident!!

the bungee ones are dangerous, i had one and had to break sharply when someone pulled out on me and my dog flew off the seat.
