@findingphilothea: There are definitely different levels and stages of intimacy during dating (and engagement and marriage!) and as I reflect on dating Mike, here is one that come to heart and mind (I’ll be sharing more this week!): - Emotional Intimacy: some ways we can do this is to learn what each other loves/dislikes. Safeguard vulnerable moments. If you’re having trouble connecting emotionally as a couple, here are some conversation starters. Couple Conversation Starters To Grow In Emotional Intimacy: - Tell me something that made you happy this week. - Is there anything that made you sad this week? - What is one thing that I can improve on to help you emotionally? - How are you doing? - Is there a topic or situation you want to talk about? - Is there a topic that is difficult to talk to me about? - What is something you look forward to during the week? - How would you rate your self-esteem and confidence? How would you rate mine? - Is there something we should be saying no to in this season that would help make us feel less overwhelmed? What would you add to this list?
