in my apartment building level 0 (ground) is half floor up so... generally look at specific buildings 😂 though most Europe uses ground lvl and then 1

Disclaimer: not all of Europe. In Norway we enter at level 1, not a “ground level” that’s below the first floor. I know we’re not the only ones

In sweden we have bottom floor and then comes 1 and 2 and 3 etc

In Denmark we got something called “stueetage” which is the ground level. Then it’s 1, 2 etc.

In Germany it depends whether you use "Etage" or "Stock". (1. E, 2. E, 3. E,...) (Erdgeschoss, 1. S, 2. S,...)
