and always make sure the shift fork is in the collar. otherwise you get to replace a pump. fng's man.

Chelsea 489. 7/8-13 spline. Shift cover is roughly 20ft lbs. I have a hydraulic shop and we do hundreds of wet kits a year.

I set mine at 8 so there is room to “wear in”. Usually never have to see it again and that was working on fleet trucks

Installed more then I can even remember. Always used some red tack spray sealant on the shims and the shifter gasket, had plenty use a two way

I refuse to add a wet kit without that pump bracket anymore. but I do keep the Allen bolts just in case!!

I have not ran across a pump to loose but you will definitely know when you hear it to tight just make sure the gear moves when you install it
