@omid.djalili: THE MUMMY - my first big Hollywood picture. This was the first scene shot.  The producer from Universal Pictures said “someone usually gets fired in the first week when producers in LA see the footage from the first 3 days of shooting.” 20 months later the producer revealed to me that the only person they wanted to get rid of back then was me. The reason: “he’s too funny! We don’t want funny! We want horrible” which of course I was never going to do. And yet somehow they kept me and I became the world’s leading “Arab scumbag specialist” 😊 🇦🇺 I will be touring Australia 16-24 September.
