Pacifiers mess up teeth just as much. I took them away as soon as that first tooth came in.

Didn’t do pacifiers at all for any of my kids. None of them ever sucked their thumb.

Why doesn’t this happen to everyone though, I sucked my thub until I was farrrr to old (3rd grade?) and have hella straight teeth.

Honestly my teeth just grew in horrible for my adult teeth, so not all messy teeth are caused from habits they are caused by genetics

I was a huge thumb sucker! Had the worst overbite ever. Luckily, braces fixed it within 2 years!

I didn't have to take it away. everyone told me to lose it at 2 and she's 2.5 and doesn't use it by choice. I'm firm believer in self weening
