Post partum weight loss… From years of being an online coach and coaching a lot of post partum women, there’s often this little unspoken elephant in the room where individuals can feel a level of guilt for wanting to change their physique after having a baby. Growing and birthing a baby is absolutely incredible, I loved my body through pregnancy and felt so unbelievably lucky and grateful. I even loved my body after birth, your body is generally a reflection of your lifestyle and habits and whatever season you’re in. I’ve been working towards a fat loss goal for my wedding and honeymoon, have lost 8kgs and feel amazing for it! Full of energy, confident, my hormones are balanced, my skin is clear and my low mental health days are few and far between these days. I can’t tell you how often I hear from my post partum clients how much better they feel from putting a few realistic practices in place to better their health. It’s also one of the most challenging times when it comes to a females mental health and so many small habits can make this so much more bearable, and if you want to lose weight and feel more confident and energetic so you have more to pour into your families cup, and getting up early in the morning doesn’t feel like such a slog, then that is amazing 🫶🏻 It’s not selfish to ask someone to watch your baby whilst you do some exercise, or to take your toddler for a walk with you around the park instead of reading to them for an hour, it’s not selfish to stick YouTube on for them for 15 minutes whilst you cook a wholesome dinner or do some food prep. You can’t pour from an empty cup 🫶🏻 I love helping women feel empowered to feel their best and look their best especially as busy working mamas. You really can have it all!!
