Despite this, it has a touch of melancholy to it, to represent renewal, it must also encompass past pains and difficulties: such as a loss, a deep sadness and an ending to something. This card is a reminder than even at your worst, or even if you’re in the depths of despair, hope still exist. You will come out of your despair feeling anew and transformed, it’s not to say you are fixed, because you don’t need to be fixed. It’s offering you time to reflect, to heal, and find peace in yourself, and what you’ve gone through. ——— I feel like this card was perfect for Katniss, she is hope, even if she didn’t necessarily choose to be, she’s hope to the districts, to the rebellion, to the people around her who she cares for. She goes through many, many, horrible things and loses many people, and yet, she heals, slowly and over a period of time she has control over now, and she learns that her trauma isn’t all that is to her. She heals, and she’s able to go on to live a more peaceful life for it.
