Tbh, I don’t think the banks should be able to clawback comms. They already don’t pay admin costs with that client and they’re not short of money..

I work in a brokers officer, definitely something we don’t do and I’ve never heard of other brokers doing that in Australia

I guess if another broker can get a better deal perhaps the first broker should be proactive at the risk of losing the original commission.
