No, too many outlets have multiple uses. Fix it.

It’s loose in the holes which means it’s not making good electrical contact which will cause electrical resistance, heat and fire hazard IMO

I have so many outlets like this in the house I rent . They wouldn’t fix them so I bought a bag of standard outlets . Time to learn how ….

that ain’t right! The connection is loose 😥 Quite a strange fix for a potentially dangerous mechanical failure.

Those things look dangerous. What normally holds the plug in is the metal to metal— which is the electrical connection. A loose connection makes heat.

I've seen these like plastic pieces that go in and take up the extra room so they don't fall out.

There's something called a SnugPlug that's also an option

Yes, please make video on replacing outlets. My home still has some 2 prong outlets and, not enough outlets.

No I would not, the plug should be replaced. That could potentially cause heat with loose connections and sparks!

I'd be concerned about a loose connection that could cause heating and potentially a fire.
