Slab leak pretty common unfortunately, imo your first slab leak you should just repipe the entire house and be done with it

Copper can develop pin holes after years and can come up at any moment from behind walls always keep track of the water usage and any moisture or smel

it was common in old days for trim guy shoot a base nail into copper then can take years for nail to rust and then a bad leak that non stop.

Trim guy hit the pipe but the pipe should’ve had a plate over it to protect it. That suck’s water is the worst. 😳😳😳

Depending on the age of the pipe, it might be a pin hole caused by erosion. Those start popping up everywhere. Might want to repipe if thats the case
