Hand scaling causes micro abrasions in the teeth that need to be polished out. Otherwise they adhere more tarter and bacteria

I just feed by guy some raw chuck roast. Make sure the chunks are big so they hat to use the back teeth cleans it right up

I stick to one ingredient treats like freeze dried hearts, livers and chews such as Turkey necks, etc. My vet also recommended plaque off.
