@atballplayers: Explanation: A Rubens' tube is a long, hollow pipe with holes on top, a speaker on one end, and a gas source on the other. When the gas is lit and sound is played through one side of the tube, the sound waves change the gas pressure in the tube, which affects the height of the flames. Where the sound wave pressure is high, flames are taller, and where it's low, flames are shorter.
