@ritajoyan: Mohammad Allum Khan known in history as Mohamet Allum was an Afghan cameleer, healer, herbalist and philanthropist, that came to australia in the 1800’s. He helped Australians during the Great Depression with food and clothing when the authorities couldn’t. It raised suspicion by the authorities and they fined him for giving charity to australians. His fine, increased the number of australians who sought his help with their ailments. He served Australia and changed Australia through medicine and charity, at a time when the government couldnt. He dies at 108 years old and is buried at Adelaide’s Centennial Park Cemertry.
