There is no future. We was forced to quit milking 6 years ago when the processors decided they could ship in milk from Michigan cheaper.

60 cows here in southern wis too. No desire to expand and bury ourselves in debt here. Labor intensive but it’s working.

My uncle and cousin were the last dairy in our county. They eventually transitioned over to beef cattle. It was hard to see them do that.
