@libo.risk: "Must be nice to not have any disabilities from the military." I hear this often because I don't "look" disabled. I've lost control of my bowels. I've had periods of sexual dysfunction. I've had to crawl out of bed. I've needed assistance getting dressed. I've struggled with alcohol and substance abuse. I've gone days without sleeping. I've endured a lot more due to my "disabilities." Myself, nor no one else needs to explain shit. I don't let any of my ailments be a crutch. If you dissect my day, you'll see the countless hours of self care and recovery that I allocate into my 24 hours. And despite my physical, mental and psychological issues, I'm grateful. Because I know life could be so much harder. So before you judge someone. Take a long damn hard look at your habits. What votes are you casting on the person you'll become. Be pathetic, or be powerful. The choice is yours.
