Update on the buy back? Same issues here. Coolant fluid low at less than 20k, couldn’t find leak, 2nd visit for fluid, water pump, 3rd visit replaced hose, 4th visit, finally checked head gasket.

Older VWs when they had NA engines and the port injected 1.8 turbo are much better in terms of reliability.

My brother was having engine problems with his KIA, he bought it in 2012, and without question replaced the engine in 2021. No cost to him.

I tried their buyback with my Tiguan and the offer was low af. Toyota took it as a trade in and paid it off. I hated that car. #GoodRiddance
