You can go to Costco and get 40 micro fiber towels for less then 20 and roll then the same way.

My thing though is I use paper towels to wipe up puke and wipe my counters. Those are things I don’t want to wash and reuse the same interchangeably.

Definitely a great alternative to paper towels, of course for other things, maybe Keep one roll of paper towels but the main go to should be these!
