@feleciaforthewin: I’m always in awe when I think about how organized of an effort it all was.. they distributed their own newspaper, their own ambulance, actually managed to boycott the buying of goods, and had the legendary nationwide Free Breakfast for Kids program. If you havent learned up on the BPP, I highly recommend the PBS doc. 🔥
