To clear some things up: it is still possible to visit them during the day. As of this week opening times (in summer) are: 9:00 - 19.30.

Get the cable cars to the Montjuïc Castle and the views are incredible on the cable cars & at the top. Cable cars were 10 euros and castle entry 9
